Career Aspirations
As a recent graduate with a zest to kick start my professional career I aspire to gain further industrial experience as a Junior Engineer or Engineer in Training through gradual increased level of responsibilities in one of the following industries – mining, pharmaceutical, petroleum, FMCG, wastewater treatment or business services. This will lead to my obtainment of an ECSA registration as a Chemical Engineering Technologist.
Work & Volunteer Experience
I have a one year’s industry experience in water treatment where I interchangeably worked in the laboratory and on site. In the laboratory I tested samples to ensure that they adhere to the SANAS standards. I also performed laboratory scale test works to improve efficiency of treatment processes. On site I monitored and operated the production process. I also carried out maintenance on process equipment.
Other Interests
I enjoy helping learners and students through tutoring and career advice. I love physical activities such as hiking, jogging and exercise.
